fish food order

Ken's Krill Pellets are being eaten by my Cory, but are not something the fly to get as soon as I put them in the tank. The Ken's Mini Earthworm pellets are a tremendous hit as every species I have fight over who is going to get them. The Ken's Catfish Pellets are left untouched and cloud the water after a while, as do the HBH Shrimp Pellets. Non of my species even nibble at them, including the various Cory collection I bought them for. The Spiralina and Garlic pellets are loved by my various plecos and cichlids, but my meat eaters won't go near them, as you would expect. HBH Natural Staple food is inexpensive and the fish will eat it when I feed it to them. Wish they would not have been out of the Veggie Natural as I like to mix the two for a more balanced cheaper meal. And the Pleco get after the Meat and Wood wafers quickly, but are not thrilled with the Veggie wafers, leaving them to dissolve and turn to cloudy dust in my tanks. I highly recommend the Mini Earthworm pellets.

Good Sinking Veggie Food
By
I only feed my round fancy goldfish sinking and soft food to avoid problems with their compromised digestive tract. To avoid flipover. I feed lightly, and see slow growth but healthy fish. These fish need to have their digestive tracts moving and they need vegetables all the time and with protein based foods. These wafers are wider and harder than spirulina wafers. I break-up and soak for quite a while to get them soft. A little goes a long way, and it provides the fish the nutrient they need as well as a type of laxative. Good for bottom feeders with tough teeth and they hold together well if soaked.

Cheap and edible...but not my fish's favorite
By
I bought these because of the price, but for some reason, despite the ingredients being similar to other algae/veggie wafers, my plecos and most of my snails don't care for these. They are thicker than I'd like and hard to break. Also, sometimes I find them floating if not eaten the previous night. My plecos/snails eat them if they are hungry enough...but if not, they get left. Only some of my snails will eat them regularly, so I buy these for them because of the good price. Everyone else has more expensive taste and much prefer the Hikari wafers.

Great product at a great price.

This is my second purchase of these wafers, I have a rather large (9 inch) "African large spot" catfish that loves these. You can smell the freshness of the ingredients, smells like vegetable soup. The tablet size is nice (17 mm or 11/16 inch) so good for larger fish and easy to break apart for smaller. Ken ship very fast and prices cant be beat at this quality level. I also use their flake food as a staple for my angles.

Poor Quality

I bought these to help feed my juvenile plecos. They refused to eat it, as did the baby purple mystery snails. The plus side, big plecos seem to enjoy them. I do not recommend for bristlenose or livebearers/most anabantoids
