Non hatching decapsulated eggs are fed directly, without the necessity and downtime of hatching. Decapsulated eggs have a higher energy and nutritional value than a live brine shrimp nauplii. Since these eggs are non-hatching, no energy is consumed in the hatching process and lipids, amino acids, and enzymes are left intact. Simply rehydrate the decapsulated brine shrimp eggs for a few minutes in fresh water and feed directly to your baby fish or reef tank. (A little bit of these goes a long way).

Another Feeding Frenzy04/27/2013
By Dimitri Klimenko
Have you ever had fish food which causes all of your fish to go into a crazy feeding frenzy. This is one of those. Although it's intent is for fry and smaller fish, ALL of my fish, including the larger ones (gouramis, rams, etc..) love this stuff. The best thing about this product is that it floats at all levels, thus, giving all of the fish a chance to eat without getting bullied by larger fish. I haven't had any fry, yet. So, I cannot comment on how well they're able consume the shrimp eggs. If it is too large for young fry, I'm still going to keep it for when they get a little bit larger.

Good option02/20/2013

I feed these to my angelfish and other cichlid fry, as well as my cory cat fry. they are a bit bigger i think then newly hatched brine shrimp, but they are eaten very well by all my fry. not a good first food, but after a bout a week of free swimming they are awesome. i have to be careful not to overfeed my angelfish. they are like swimming footballs...they eat this stuff really well

No more icky brine shrimpery!04/24/2015
By Grace
This is an amazing alternative to icky brine shrimperies but still giving the great protein. I also use it for my adult fish, not only juvenile. Some users claim it is not ideal for fry as little content is actually absorbed. A little goes a long way so don't over feed as you will need to clean up the remaining uneaten food to prevent bacterial issues.

I feed my Endler's Livebearers this food, mixed with finely crushed flake foods. The newborn fry eat it well and so do the adults, along with the flake. Makes an easy and nutritious meal for all sizes. And so much easier than hatching the eggs. You get a huge amount for very little money. Highly reccomend this food.
