These are excellent air difusers that have very low resistance and uniform porosity.These will last for years without clogging up like others.They are easily cleaned in a solution of bleach and water.For tough build up they can you can clean them with muriatic acid and it won't hurt the difuser.They are excellent to use in corner filters and sponge filters for better flow and aeration.There is no need to weigh these down they stay on the bottom by themself.
